PendEl History

Pendulum Electromagnetics, Inc. (PendEl) was established in 1994. At its inception, PendEl's activities were limited to the repair of klystrons and traveling wave tubes. Equipped with substantial assets obtained from liquidations in the immediate area, PendEl secured its first major contract with the Department of Energy to repair 150 high power klystrons for what is now The Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (TJNAF) in Newport News, VA. This contract served to establish a reasonably steady cash flow while we pursued other contracts for specific, one-of-a-kind TWT requirements. Since that time, PendEl has expanded its activities and customer base, and now boasts a growing catalog of products and an impressive list of satisfied customers. Indeed, PendEl will continue to exploit its considerable technical prowess through implementation of key strategic business partnerships that have positioned us for significant growth in the coming years.
